Sheena and the Emit
Meet Sheena, a Chicago blogger that I had the chance to photograph and learn a bit about for this week's post.We asked a couple quick questions to get a bit of insight. Enjoy!
Are you left or right brained?
-Right-brained, for sure. I grew up drawing up bad sketches and writing extra chapters to my favorite books. I always imagined myself working in a creative field. I guess you could say my blog and photography are the two places where I get to wear the creative hat.
Describe in one word your pursuit in life.
- Happiness. I think it's important to find happiness in whatever you do. And if it doesn't make you happy, don't do it. But I know it's easier said than done.
What was the last thing that captured your attention and made you stop?
-I went to the Wicker Park/Bucktown area and was walking down this pathway near the entrance of the 606 trail and there was a mural being painted by an artist on a huge brick wall. One of the faces painted on the mural was one of my cousins! At first I thought it was just a coincidence because I couldn't believe it but I texted him to find out and it was him on the wall! How cool is that?! His face is living on a wall in Chicago!
What do you never leave home without?
-At the risk of sounding like a true millennial, my phone. Not only is it a means of communication but I can access everything from it. I can plan out social media posts or read the news. But I do want to put it out there that I'm not using my phone 24/7. I make it a point to put it away during my commute to and from work so I can read an actual book instead. 
Pick something that you would think of as your own personal texture.
-Cotton-it's soft, comfortable and strong.
